We Need To Shoot A Movie Scene In Someone's House.

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm a lecturer at Prince of Songkla University in Phuket. We need to shoot some scenes for a film in a house- in the bedroom, front yard, and then back yard.

Most of the students at PSU live in apartments so I need to ask help from people on this forum... if anyone has a house and wouldn't mind letting me shoot some scenes there (mostly out in the front yard and back yard) for about half a day (some time between the 18th and 25th) we would be very, very greatful to you!

Please let me know if anyone can help.

Thank you!

Wish I could help but my house is in Chiang Mai so I guess it will be to far out for you. Hope you have luck.

Check your in box.

My wife would certainly enjoy it if you used our place. She was a background actress in LA until we moved here, and she enjoys the process of making films. Our place has large front and rear yards and is on the bay, so the view is nice. We're across from the Yacht Haven Marina in Phang Nga about 14 Kilometers from the bridge, so maybe it's too far for your purposes, but if not, feel free to PM me if you think it could work out for you.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. Would you be able to estimate how long of a drive it would be from Kathu, Phuket? I think that if it's over a 40 minute drive by motorcycle, I should probably consider another option, for my actor's sake.

Thanks again

We have a home in Chalong too, and the drive from there takes about one hour by car, so I suppose from Kathu it would be pretty close to your 40 minute drive time limit by motorcycle.

  • 3 weeks later...

I'm also interested in shooting a feature in Phuket.

Any general advice concerning customs caret, permitting, fixers, equipment rental?

My stats and CV are listed in my profile, of course.
