Bicycle Repair Shop Downtown Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi All -

I am looking for a good place that knows how to service a mountain bike. I recently took my bike to Probike beside Lumpini park and they did such a poor job servicing the bike it is basically unridable. (hydraulic breaks not bled, front break partially engaged, chain switching gears constantly.....) I read pretty good reviews about them on Thai Forum so I thought I would give them a go. The reviews were a little old so I guess something has changed or someone has quit. Probike sells some nice bikes but the service is abysmal. I have seen a Specialized dealer also near Lumpini would they be worth a try?

Thanks.

Where are you in Bangkok?

I am on Sukhumvit in the Nana BTS area. But I am willing to travel to find a good place.

The two that I use for repairs and service are:-

Nakornthai Bike on Lat Phrao Road - between Lat Phrao 101 & 103 and NgeeHong between Lat Phrao 31 & 33.

Both shops have English speakers. NgeeHong has been opened a few months and is a 'one man band', his work is good - the shop opens at 11am.

The Cannondale shop on Sukhumvit does good repairs. Also Cycle Sports(Merida Dealer) on Thanon Worachak has a good repair shop, but they are painfully slow, but do a good job.

Thanks. I don't mind waiting if they can do a good job. Thanks for taking the time to post a reply.

I'm also near Nana BTS, and posted the other day on the Bike Zone shop of the second floor of Amarin Plaza near the Chidlom BTS station.... Now, searching, I can't find that thread anymore... This shop does do bicycle service, and it's very nearby, but I've never had service done there myself as yet.

Finally found the other thread/post re the Bike Zone shop at Amarin Plaza with photos...which you can see here....
