If you've been going to Ayutthaya I would continue to go there.

Hello,

Where is the office for Lam Lukka ? Still in Ayutthaya ?

Thanks.

FYI, a friend who lives in Sam Kok District of Pathum Thani, posted this note this morning:

"Going this morning just to check out the new Immigration Office here in Pathum. About 4km from the house. No business, just going to see if it is really open. Nice big new sign noticed the other day."

From my place at Klong 10, reckon Ayutthaya would be easier than heading west across Rangsit and the Chao Phaya, sometimes that area gets really backed up. As it is, I can just catch the Eastern Ring Road, Hwy 9, at Klong 5 and head northwest. Oh, well, an excuse to stop at Future Park on the way back.

Thanyaburi Mac, do you have the address of the Pathum Thani immigration office? Can you help me place it on Google Maps? For the moment, I have put my marker just randomly in Pathum Thani:

Will ask my buddy, perhaps he can spot it on Google Earth, or maps.

Added comment: Just looking at Google Map for Pathum now, where's the Lat-Long info?

Here it is spotted on Google Earth, NORTH of Pathum Thani: 14degrees 4'16.81N 100degrees 31'27.81 E

Cross the Chao Phaya River on Hwy 346, then turn right, north, at the 4-way intersection. Left, south, is to downtown Pathum Thani.

Location is up Rte 3111 through SamKhok. The road divideds just for a short distance and the turn is through the divide

to the end of the soi.

That's one strange location for an office that will be visited often by lots of expats. Wonder if it'll stay there?

Tried to add the attachment from Google Earth but get an error message on TV:

OK, works now. Ayutthaya would definitely be easier for me from out at Klong 10, but that's not the way things work, I guess. Oh, well, still easier than down to Suan Plu.

According to the new immigration office, changwattana Rd (went there yesterday),

you can use that office for Pathum Thani (as lam luk ka is a district of Pathum Thani Province)

see pics attached

hope this helps

Re Pathum Thani, I see the arrow points "up," does that mean "upstairs" at the new offices at Chang Wattana?

Is the new immigration office for Nonthaburi changed from it's location across the river? Or is this office for convenience? If we want to go to the office across the river, can we?

You have to go across the river - it was only open in Bangkok until that office was established. If you come to Bangkok you will be given instructions to the new office.

Your across the river is/may be a different direction than mine - if you live in Nonthaburi that is where you go - you do not come to the new Bangkok Immigration office.

Thank you. I have not moved my marker for the Pathum Thani immigration office on Google Maps to that spot.

I take it that this office is only for people living in Pathum Thani province.

Based on the new immigration office list that is indeed correct.

Good directions above, note that the short bit of road with a divider (where you turn right) is very short, much less than it appears on Google maps.

Positive experience at this small office, extended my son's Tourist Visa, took 30 minutes. One rider, if you want to extend before 30 days from expiry a small 'processing fee' (tea money) will likely be requested.

You got it! I was over to the Pathum Thani Immigration office this morning for my 90-day report. Easy enough to find, just 4.5 km north of the main intersection Pathum-Rangsit, turn right and head towards Sam Khok. Attached maps provided by the Immigration office.

I asked about mail-in 90-day reports, not yet, said the gal there, not yet set up for it. Perhaps in a couple of months.

Took me 1 hr 10 min drive from Klong 10 on the Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road, an even 50 km one way About 2 minutes for the 90-day report!

Mac

Should add a note: At the 4.5 km mark the road divides for a very short distance. There's a break in the divided road for right turns into the soi with Immigration. Do so.
