Lots of people on this site fly with Etihad.

I have been having problems with their website. It keeps giving me the message,

"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."

I went down to the local internet cafe as I thought it was my computer or my internet connection but I got the same result there. All other websites can be accessed normally.

Is it the Etihad server overloading?; Is it True?; Is it some kind of Thai-based blocking?

Has anyone else experienced this? And do you have a solution?

Been having similar problems for the last 24 hours. Keep getting the message "there is no server to handle the request"

Yep, the Etihad website is truly awful.

A few weeks ago, I gave up and actually booked my Etihad ticket with another booking agency.

I need to do something with my air miles and online is, in theory, the most convenient way to do it.

I've found their call centre in BKK very busy recently...was on hold for 20 minutes...seems they are getting too popular. And imho they are not as good as they used to be. However I had terrible service in emirates and will be checking out Qatar next. Their website has some problem and shows that no miles are accrued on their flights.

Emerites has a frustrating website too and often does similar i have found.

This is beginning to do my head in.

Using Telenet out of Belgium right now, was on Etihad website yesterday and today.

Flying out to Abu Dhabi - Bangkok tomorrow, business class BRU-AUH full and AUH-BKK business class 1 seat free, seems they are doing well...

After three days of frustration, it's working fine for me at the moment. Maxnet Chiang Mai.

Had success with Asianet at another internet cafe although I had to refresh/resend a few times but my apartment which uses True almost never works.

I use True and it hit or miss if the website works. Normally (for me) after 10pm it seems fine but during the day its dodgy.

the eithad website is appalling. so unuseable.

I have finally managed to make a booking but they have the names the wrong way around. Is this an arabic thing?

I went back in and the website had saved my details and I definitely had first name GRAHAM, last name HASLAM the right way around but in the confirmation email it says Haslam Graham.

Any help any one.

I have emailed them but I expect to get no where.
