Fortuner Fuel Consumption

Featured Replies

I have a 3.0L diesel Toyota Fortuner 2006 model, i thought i was using a lot of diesel, so on last fill up i did a check, works out on the refil yesterday I am doing, 7.5 km per litre, or about 33km per gallon, this is on short journey around Pattaya.

Does this sound about right?

I did ask Toyoyta (pattaya) to check when the car was serviced last week, but the above is what they told me to do?

My car has done 85,000 kms,& i have had it since new, & always had it regualarly serviced by Toyota

sounds ok. 8-9 km/litre on highway 140-160 kmh. Fortuner needs more fuel than Vigo with same engine and auto, cause fulltime4x4 and dual aircons.
