Possible To Call A Taxi?

Featured Replies

We're staying in Kamala a bit far away from the main road.

I wonder if we can call a taxi for a pick up.

If so, please let me know, thanks!

The Taxi Meter number is 076232157. Never tried it. Would be interested if it works. They may charge you though for coming all the way to Kamala.

There are many local private taxis and tuk tuks in Kamala. Just ask anyone nearby, they know someone.

Didn't try the metered taxi, but have found a Tuk Tuk driver we can call when we need him. I am amazed about the 'taxi mafia'. Haven't seen it worse than here.

Here's a number for a taxi driver in Phuket: 084-061-2933. His name is Manop and he speaks English. His prices are pretty standard for Phuket although taxi rides are not cheap there(not a metered taxi). Reserve ahead of time for best results.
