November 9, 200916 yr what with all those hieroglyhs in fisherman village? Lurked, but couldnt find a bit of info. Help?
November 9, 200916 yr hieroglyphs...? Do you mean the Chinese characters on some of the old wooden houses in Fisherman's Village ? Nothing to do with Korea; the -Chinese- people still living there are the descendants of the original Chinese fishermen who once landed on Samui a long time ago and settled there. It would be a real pity if the remaining old wooden houses with their families would end up as shops and restaurants as so many of these houses did before already..... LaoPo
