Traveling To Bangkok For Rhinoplast In 2 Weeks - Please Help:)

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am traveling to Bangkok (from New Zealand) to have a reduction rhinoplasty.

I am just wanting to know if at Yanhee lots of "Farangs" come in for this procedure? I am booked in @ Yanhee with Dr. Pitch for this - as far as I can see he is a very reputable surgeon. Is this right???

Hope you can help - thanks in advance:)

Beka :)

do a search. This has been answered a million times

I have done so many times but cant find much feedback from non thai or Singapore. Im just wanting to know if many europeans get operated on by him.

You should have done your homework a long time ago. Waiting until two weeks before surgery is gross negligence on your part.

A bit harsh there, hhgz.

The vast majority of patients having rhinoplasty at Yanhee will be Thai and having a very different sort of procedure, but they do get foreign patients as well.

AFAIK Dr. Pritch has only trained and practiced in Thailand so it would indeed be worth asking specifically how many reduction rhinos he has done on western patients. Suggest you email the hospital and ask.

Thanks heaps. Will do.

And I have been researching for over 3 months but I just changed my surgeon from Dr. Thaiwatchi to Dr. Pitch as new person I spoke to said that would be fine. (person i spoke to previously said i couldnt)

Think i have researched too much and am getting worked up and worried (im going over by myself and have never traveled on my own overseas.)

Thanks.

Hi there BEKA

I have just joined the Forum (I am a Samoan living in Australia). I've booked into see Dr Pitch for a BA and Nose implant on Sunday 30th May 2010. I have been researching hard for about 2 weeks, even taken the day off to read forums and more research. The more I hear dissatified customers the more nervous I get. Im sure Dr Pitch will do a great job.....I think I just wanna know that heaps of people have had great experiences....if you know what I mean. I mean not EVERY single customer will be satisfied and smooth sailing for the next 10 years. There was this lady in NZ that DID NOT his work, I emailed her and she said not to go with him...yet there are heaps of other people that have said he's great, so do you listen to that 1 percent? Anyways I know what your going through, I hoep to hear back from you regarding DR Pitch...what was he like?

Yanhee is a training center for young doctors to practice with plastic/cosmetic surgery in focus. The best equipment in town. The doctors usually go away after their term has finished and open a clinic themselves or change to another hospital.
