The Dukes. Form sponsor.

I second The Dukes if you are after the best food. If you want a river view, go to Riverside. but the food there is just so-so.

The Dukes is on the river road, with an outdoor porch.

Isn't BUONISSIMO on the river? It's often been recommended on this forum.

Have a look at : www.thegallery-restaurant.com. Charoenrat Road-same area as above. The website's a bit quirky but it's on the river. Haven't been.

The weather is now cool enough; go to the great Sunday buffet (or is it Sunday great buffet) lunch at the Holiday Inn and sit outside on the terrace.

Yes it is, however it would need to be a place that's open (and somewhat busy) for lunch. That makes it harder. The riverside used to be open for lunch.

Buonissimo is open for lunch. I just had lunch there about 2 weeks ago.
