The sister has been here with me in Chiang Mai for the past 10 days biking the hills, trekking, rafting and now will be heading to Phuket on Monday the 30th.

She is adventurous, wants to hike, snorkel and kayak, and prefers a hotel resort on/near a beach and near to a town/village so she can eat and experience local food and culture and not be restricted to a 'resort' type environment. She needs to catch an early flight to BKK on Saturday so at least the last day or two should be somewhat close to Phuket airport.

Any suggestions with moderate budget of 1000-2000 a day?
