Why a topic of direct interest to Chiang Mai residents with direct Chiang Mai related content would be closed on the Chiang Mai forum : is "beyond us."

The CM version is still there, not deleted and viewable by all. Reference to the News Clippings has been placed in that topic and updates and comments should be maintained in one location. It has always been standard policy to not have multiple topics of the same subject running.
