i believe a similar topic made the rounds here a couple of years ago but i can't find it using any site searches. anyway, it is a tiny whitish outer shell similar to a pistachio that houses a very small worm like creature. very slow moving, if at all. find them on my bathroom wall sometimes, other times i see them hanging from the porch roof and birds like to eat them.

anyone know what this is? one of the few times that google is of no help.
