I read somewhere recently that airaisa is starting direct flights from phuket to bali does anyone know when they are going to start these flights, thanks in advance if you can help me with this information.

Yes i am also waiting for news.....my guess is February...i for one cannot wait....flight times maybe 3 hours and 7000b return....or am i dreaming..Phuket is turning into a great place to base oneself.

I too am waiting for the Phuket/Bali flight to start. Can't wait to book a promo price when it's announced. Just booked the new flight Phuket/Ho Chi Min City for March 2010 at promo price of 290 baht each way. Even with taxes etc it only cost 1,800 baht return flight. What a deal.

Theres also the Tiger / Jetstar combo that gives you a bounce in sing.. Easy one day journey and can be sub 8 - 10k returns if your booking in advance.

Sure its not as easy as a direct, and I too am waiting for the direct eagerly, but no wait for that.

I also hope that flight will be available soon.
