canincm Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Does anyone have a suggestion for New Year's Eve dinner and countdown in Chiang Mai? Preferably somewhere romantic and open-air. I heard a rumour that bars and clubs will be shut down at midnight due to the Santika tragedy last year. Has anyone else heard something like that? Thanks very much!
elektrified Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 He is referring to the tragedy in BKK last year. I'm sure you will have fun at Pratu Thaphae for countdown. It's always loads of fun there. Open air, yes. Romantic? I dunno... For dinner there are so many choices really. If you peruse the posts over the last week or two you will find all kinds of recommendations for holiday dining. Have fun!
