Featured Replies

The title says it all - where in Bangkok (or Pattaya) can I buy the paste for Singapore or Malaysian Laksa?

Thanks,

Thanks for that. Is this a shop or a restaurant (or both!)? I'm looking to buy the paste so I can cook the dish myself.

Thanks.

This shop only sells laksa, and only on Sat & Sun. They do not sell the paste.

You need 2 imported ingredients to cook laksa - the paste and curry leaves (fresh or dried). Best to get them from Malaysia or Singapore through traveling friends.

The other shop that sells laksa everyday is Kopi Tiam, 30m into Soi 26 Sukhumvit, right hand side when entering from Sukhumvit road.
