In light of 2 tragedies on successive days, concerning poor electrical standards, we're all a bit nervous of our own electrical wiring at the moment, I think.

During my house build last year, I was adamant that I'd be as confident as possible about my own contracted electrician. For this, I got a friend who works for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), to get the JLL electrical guy in Phuket to give my place the once-over. He gave a "thumbs up" to my own electrician's work.

This electrician only works in the south of Phuket (Rawai, Nai Harn, Chalong, Wichit areas), but if anybody would like his details, please PM me.

Be safe.

Yes, sounds good. Please share his contact info. My "Safe-T-Cut" (Ground Leakage Breaker) stopped working a few months ago and my present useless electrician can't work out where the leakage is and why it cuts electricity immediately when engaged. I now have to bypass it and I worry so much having a 3-year old daughter playing in the house....I live in Chalong.
