IanForbes
I'm glad to have survived another. It was a great evening for me... even though I spent far more than I originally intended. I AM a sucker when a "cute young thang" asks me to buy her a drink. How can an old bloke refuse? I certainly wish all of you here the best in the new year. And, if you recognize me in a bar or on the street, come up and say hello.
chiangmaibruce
Yes indeed, happy new year all We had a quiet night, but a pleasant one. Back in Oz at the moment renovating a house. It's been stinking hot but the wet season has arrived in just the past couple of days. So this afternoon we sat for a time on the balcony with corn chips, guacamole, and a Bundaberg Ginger Beer at hand ... watching rain clouds and squalls roll in from the sea, and dump their load on the parched garden. All the family are well. My book is finally published. Can't wait to get back there. Enjoy the cool weather and fresh air while it lasts you lucky so and so's
