Recomendations For Good Neurologist In Cm

Recommended Posts

In caregiving my 90 yr old father, recent events/observations have me thinking that he needs to be screened/evaluated/diagnosed for alzheimer's and/or demnetia. The obvious problem will be the English verbal testing that maybe a Thai doctor may have problems with, so good spoken English is a must.

Any recomendations for a neurologist doctor in CM would be appreciated.....

I would highly recommend Dr Parithat (one of the cheifs I believe) at Suan Prung Hospital. He wuold be a great starting point who can tell you about experts in the feild...his English is immaculate. McKean also offers a retirement home and medica support for such illnesses now. Good luck.

Would also recommend contact with a Dr Sasivimol - pronounced "Sasiweemon" who is in private practice and also may be consulted on a few days each week at Ram1 hospital. She is a specialised Neurologist with a great sense of humour and empathy and her English is excellent.

She will give long appointments for up to 300 baht at Ram hospital.

Cheers.
