WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any fan of only fools and horses DO NOT BOTHER

Just watched the pilot and have to say it is absolutely NOTHING like the series it is meant to prequel. It may feature the same character names but they are absolutely NOTHING like their namesakes in the series people loved. There was not 1 single laugh in the whole thing. Whoever thought this one up needs sacking from the BBC immediately. Total and utter crap! :) But so true!!!!

It just goes to prove that some some are best left alone as they cannot be bettered!

I ws in the UK the last month and, to be fair to the BBC and others involved in this production, they were at some considerable pains to point out that this is NOT meant to be an early version of OFAH. They were quite vehement that this is a completely different production both in style and content and, although it can be loosely described as a prequel, it is not the same program.

As for laughs, I'm afraid British comedy as portrayed on television is all but extinct that is why some channels are rerunning episodes of Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers, The Vicar of ??? (Dawn French) etc etc.

The supposed "cutting edge" British comedy Little Britain was about as funny as a boil on the bum.
