Private Mailbox Service In Chiang Mai ?

We had a bad experience with the private mailbox rental service on the second floor of the Tesco Lotus (Kam Tiang) on the Superhighway about three years ago : paid for a year rental, and found out they had refused to accept some magazines sent to us from the US because they were "too big" for the mailbox (and not, of course, taking the trouble to call us and tell us that).

If you have had a good experience with a private mailbox service here in Chiang Mai, would appreciate a referral.

Why do you want private? One at the post office works well for me.

Don't take one of those expensive private mailboxes, go to the regular postoffice, choose a nice number and pay only 500b. per year.

I have a mailbox at the maeping post office (near the nawarat bridge) since many years. Guess they have 10 - 20 boxes to choose of. When the office is closed sometimes at the backside they are still open, you can walk in there to get your mail.
