We should of course remember the demonstration that Thaksin ordered a while back when he called on all his supporters to send their wives and children along to support him whilst he still was in power.

The tactical (or tactless) next move made was that Thaksin sent his wife and his children to Hong Kong and elsewhere out of the way. Stand up for me and I will shout from the outside of the arena.

All these protesters are but cannon fodder in the campaign to protect Thaksin and his cronies avowed aim to pillage Thailand for as much as they can in their never ending campaign to line their own pockets upon their hoped for return to power.

It's on Thai news a lot at the moment, the video clip is Arisaman speaking at a red rally in Khon Kaen 2 weeks ago where he urges everyone to come to Bangkok with a plastic bottle. He tells the crowd there's no need to fill it with petrol in Khon Kaen, they can do that in Bangkok (cheers in the background).

Perhaps Arisaman (and Seh Daeng) are in fact third hands set out to discredit the peace loving Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Aung San Suu Kyi red supporters?

Jatuporn served as secretary for Praphat Banyachartrak, a deputy agriculture minister and minister of natural resources and environment in the Thaksin government. In 2003, Jatuporn and other ministry officials came into conflict with local farmers in Nakhon Si Thammarat over government land policy. The farmers, in protest of government policy, took over a plantation owned by Thai Ruam Pattana Farming Co.

The protesters accused authorities of leasing large tracts of land to big palm oil producers instead of redistributing the land to the farmers. In reponse to the land seizure, Jatuporn and other ministry officials ordered 1,000 police to retake the property. Jatuporn defended the action, saying the protesters were armed and violated trespassing laws. ( October 30, 2003).

Indeed the brand of democracy advocated by Thaksins puppets is indeed at variance with the truth and the past actions of these self professed democratic idols,

Don't know where they will stay before the march, but I do know that many times before very large numbers have been bused to Bangkok, done the procession or whatever, then been dumped somewhere in Bangkok to find their own way home, which for many is quite expensive.

One example I can quote is walking along the footpath outside the almost failed shopping complex on the corner of Rajadamri Road and Petchaburi Road, and there must have been 4 or 5,000 people just sitting on the footpath, the parking area, the road etc., all looking very forlorne. My Thai adult son potitely asked what was happening. a couple of the people explained that they were very angry, they were bused to Bkk, fed rubbish food, waved the flags at the rally, given 200Baht, and then dumped on that corner.

I have been in a peaceful one day protest rally of 160,000 people....and that shut down a lot of streets, disrupted public and private transport, put a strain on public conveniences and tied up 100's of cops.

Just imagine what a million people would be like over 5 days! Giving them shelter, food, water and buckets every day would keep another 10,000 busy. Then there is the chance that it could turn ugly.

Even if only half of em have Molotov Cocktails....thats a whole lot of trouble waiting to happen! He11, things could get out of control very quickly indeed.

Just a little more information on the Champion of Thai Democracy Jatuporn Promphan. circa 2007

Jatuporn Promphan reacted angrily on January 31 when a group of Ramkhamhaeng University students visited the party's headquarters and demanded he stop intervening in the university's activities, The Nation reports.

Some 20 students led by student organisation chairman Somchote Meechana submitted a letter to Thai Rak Thai caretaker leader Chaturon Chaisang.

But Jatuporn received the letter himself.

The students also brought a banner that read: "We demand political groups stop interfering with the student organisation."

Jatuporn denied he had asked the Sattha Dharma Party to assist Thai Rak Thai in protesting against the junta. Sattha Dharma is a student group contesting the student elections.

Jatuporn, a former Ramkhamhaeng student, was earlier accused of hiring the university's students to protest against the military-installed government.

"I want you to think it over if you ever met the junta and received money or not. I want you swear to me that you did not lie," he said angrily.

He then admitted he was a former Sattha Dharma member - having denied any knowledge of the group two days ago - and said he was always invited to lecture when the student elections were held.

Somchote countered Jatuporn by saying that he and other stu-dents had come to the Thai Rak Thai headquarters because it was the duty of the student organisation. He insisted they had never received any money from the Council for National Security (CNS).

As soon as Somchote finished speaking, Jatuporn pointed at the group and shouted furiously: "You are brave to swear that you have never known the CNS or received money from them.

"We are Ramkhamhaeng, too, so don't you lie to me. Ramkham-haeng students in the past fought with the dictator, but on February 1 what do you do? When the military made a coup, were you concerned?"

Jatuporn said he would today file a police complaint against the group.

No order to mobilise forest rangers : Suwit

BANGKOK: -- There is no order signed to mobilise and arm thousands of forest rangers nationwide to Bangkok to prevent red shirts from rallying in Bangkok, Suwit Khunkitthi, minister of natural resources and environment said Wednesday.

The minister was responding to a claim by a red shirted leader; Jatuporn Prompan that he has evidence to prove that Suwit signed an order to mobilise 6,000 forest rangers with firearms to the capital to block the red shirts coming to rally here.

However, Suwit Wednesday dismissed the accusation as totally unfounded.

"How could he claim that he has got the signed order. I've never signed such an order? I hate violence and neither want to see any confrontation nor violence," he said.

Instead he instructed civil servants to remain impartial.

The government and the military have intensified their security in many areas particularly the capital in the run-up to the Supreme Court's February 26 ruling whether to seize the assets worth Bt76 billion of convicted forme prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Don't know where they will stay before the march, but I do know that many times before very large numbers have been bused to Bangkok, done the procession or whatever, then been dumped somewhere in Bangkok to find their own way home, which for many is quite expensive.

That now fits perfect with another story......

One problem for the reds is that their demonstrators run away after their paid time or even before. So they want to pay the money AFTER.

But no one want to agree with payment after. All want the money BEFORE.

With your story that makes more sense.....After their demonstration they just get dumped somewhere and would never see any money.

If you are under the impression that every Red is motivated by a payment (and post after post suggests this is indeed your view) then I suppose you are entitled to deceive yourself.But please don't insult the intelligence of the rest of us.
