I saw the ferris wheel when we drove by last week so I took the family along today to have a look. It's right next to Central Chidlom in a vacant block of land. The fee is 50 baht to get in for adults and free for children. The concept is that you buy non-refundable tokens and pay for the rides as you go along. My daughter is only 3 1/2 so she was limited to the kiddies rides. We took the ferris wheel and the cost was 175 baht (7 tokens) for 2 of us. Quite expensive. Half of the people working there are farang, so maybe that is part of the reason why the price is so high. Very ordinary I must say. The ferris wheel rotated maybe 5 or 6 times and that was it. Next I put the daughter on another ride that was 50 baht (2 tokens), for her to spin 5-6 times around in a big bee type merry go round. It was all over in about a minute. We paid for 2 more rides that were equally expensive and went home. Other rides may be better value for money, but for me it was expensive and I would not go again. There were probably 100 people there in total. Some of the rides sat idle for 30 minutes. I cannot see the average Thai being able to afford to go.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought about it when I passed it on Saturday with my daughter and decided to skip and went to Central World Kiddy Land instead. Right decision it seems. Dream World seems very price worthy in comparison with most rides my 5 year old daughter likes costing 20 or 30 bath.
