Time is just not important for the earth and the changes it brings.

Can happen any time, almost anywhere, if not tsunami then something else, like a volcano eruption.

Man invented time, for earth, 100 years is a very short time.

Sicily, Italy, had a Tsunami 1908 which killed some 70 000 people with a wave 40 feet (12 meters) high, crushed everything (almost) in its path.

We can't forsee what earth are up to so why be afraid, if so, be afraid of everything, killer bees, sharks, swine flu and whatnot.

The only thing we can do is remember and take action when it happens.

I myself wouldn't buy a frontshore property though, regardless where, not only because the prices are too high but also due to the events happening around the globe.

The Tsunami that hit costlines 2004 were quite a small one, that was just a ripple with devestating effect.

The answer to the poll is,

No I don't fear a Tsunami in Phuket and

Yes, there will be another at some point, maybe not in my lifetime.
