Is It 2 Or 3 Months Now Fro 400k Marriage Extension Please

Last year my local ofice accepted 6 weeks but they no longer do extensions

Will have to go to Mae Sai

Have tried calling but of course no one will commit or put anything in writing

I see from goverment website 2 months first time and 3 months renewal

My query is this current practice at Mae Sai especially?

Plan B is try and get completely new one in one day in Perth non O multi entry

I will be there on 8th of April and possiibly Brisbane on 18t/19h of May

Apart from thA$225 my wife in person with her passport ID card her housebook any other requirements bankbook (certain amount?)

If I do this should I still get a re-entry before leaving in case cannot be done in one day as existing visa has months to go and new one will start on entry probably late august after present one expires.

Or will a new non O overide the present visa.Ive asked local expats but like me the ever changng rules and interpretaions means there are as many answers and people in the club

As an aside visa for Burma Laos USA Oz Cambodia Malya Estonia Afghanistan Iran Turkey China including work permits Holland FinlandFrance Qatar UAE Saudi never involved more than aform and a cheque or pay on arival

With biometric chip in passport or Earlobe ID and credit cards you would imagine

LOS could do better even Austria removed need to report to the Police or is it all ajob creation tea money scheme
