How many 1 year extensions of stay can be made on a Non-imm visa?

Does one just continue to extend on the original visa? Or is one extending on the extension?

Reason for stay is retirement. Currently have Non-imm visa issued in US. Have extended once so far.

Wondering if I have to someday apply for another new non-imm visa.

Thanks for any info.

I and the wife have extended 6 times so far without a problem.......

Could you tell me how do you extend the visa, as I have a one year Ed. Visa to start but will marry in the future and would be interested to know more. Thanks.

hansk , you are not extending your Visa. Once that has expired it is gone forever.

You are extending your Temporary Permision to Stay in the Kingdom.

As long as you qualify it can be done indefinitely.

(6) In case of marriage with a Thai lady, the husband who is an alien must have an average annual income of not less than 40,000 baht per month or a money deposit in a local Thai bank of not less than 400,000 baht for the past 2 months for expenses within a year.
