Truck Required For Moving Furntiture To Hua Hin

Featured Replies

Hi

Just posting on here to see if anyone has a large truck or knows someone with a truck that can move furniture from Ubon Ratchthani to Hua Hin or Prachup Khiri Khan. It would probably take me 4/5 trips in my pick-up and is one headache i dont want. Or does anyone have any experience about how to go about finding someone.

Please feel free to post or PM me and i will pass my phone number on to discuss.

Looking to move sometime next week....

Many Thanks TJK

TJK,

I've helped 2 farangs with TU relationships with Thai GF's move, one out of Issan to Rayong & one locally. As there are no moving companies here, you have to think on broader terms.

We contacted a man with a 6 wheel song taow, the type that is usually used for school buses here. The windows close, the rear doors can be locked, and the benches fold up. He does not have moving blankets, so you may need to buy some recycle cardboard boxes or bubble wrap to protect furniture and such. The song taow has a roof rack so bicycles & larger awkward items can be tied down up top.

He hired two guys to help load & unload the trucks & both of my friends were quite happy with his service & quoted price. He did what he said, when he said...amazing for Issan.

He is not in Ubon, but if you like, PM me with your contact info & I will give you his contact info. You will need a translator as he speaks zero English.

Happy to help. Let me know how it goes/went.

Well he left yesterday so hopefully it went well!
