I know that there are many schools offering an ED visa for studying Thai.

Does anyone know of a school that offers an ED visa for studying English?

Thank you for your assistance.

You can apply for an Ed-visa on almost any study. As long as the school is recognised and you study at least 4 hours a week.

Most language schools advertise for Thai anguage courses, but also offer courses English. There are also courses where you can study English aimed at becomming a teacher, if that is your goal.

If you want a specific school, it might be helpfull if you tell where you want to study. But the best thing is to visit a school and follow one or two lessons to see if you like it. Diffrent schools have different methods of teaching. It is importnt you choose a method that suits you.

Thank you all for your posts. Perhaps I should have written a bit more about the situation.

My son is a dual USA/Thai national, now lives in Udonthani, and his girlfriend is a Lao national. He will move to Bangkok in a few months for graduate school, and he wants to live with his girlfriend. She's a lovely young woman, so I have no objection.

His girlfriend currently stays in Udon on 1 month entry permits. This is not practical if she is in Bangkok, so it occurred to me that if my son was studying, the best thing would be for her to study as well, and English is the obvious subject.

So, that is why I am looking for the most suitable English language school that can offer a 1-year education visa for a 20-year old Lao woman.

Any recommendations would be appreciated, but I have limited financial resources so cost is definitely a major factor.
