Just before 5.30 on Tuesday Morning Police received a call from a motorbike taxi driver that someone had just stolen his bike from the front of the Dee Den Apartment complex in Soi Khopia in South Pattaya. Police units were given a description of the bike and its license plat number and it was soon spotted further up Soi Khopai. The bike was being driven by Khun Sayan aged 40 who was soon confronted by the rightful owner of the bike, Khun Korsit aged 25 who was held back by officers. The suspect was taken to Pattaya Police Station where he claimed that he did not have enough money to purchase a motorbike so he decided to steal one instead. He was charged with theft and lock-up pending a court appearance.
