arunsakda
Stopped by ARM Bikes the other day. Westbound side of Huay Kaew past CM Hill Hotel, before the Canal road. Dude charged 300 Bht to bleed air from Shimano brake line. Perhaps a little steep? Edited July 16, 2010 by arunsakda
flying
I'm looking for a ROAD BIKE shop, what are the best options? Been to 2 shops so far that only do mountain bikes (Chaitawat and La Bike). I live Hang Dong area and see someone recommending a place near the junction with Baan Tawai - does that shop do road bike bits? Also looking for any that sell cycle clothing. Does Jacky Bike do road bikes/parts? Thanks Dont know if your still looking but.... Went by Velo City & they have Road Bike bits 3T bars & Stems, seat posts nice assortment of saddles (so did Jackies) I was surprised to see a set of Carbon Sports Lightweights hanging there. http://www.lightweight.info/index.php?id=26&L=1 125,000 baht so the price is about the same as back home....no big surprise as the wheels are built in Germany Also saw some Easton EC90's And some bare carbon rims too. Also Cervelo carbon frames as well as other brands....... They also had a nice selection of Tune Parts like the speed needle saddles, skewers etc, Not too much in the way of clothes Overall best road bike parts selection shop I have seen so far. I have also been to TCA & Jackies Edited July 22, 2010 by flying
T_Dog
Since we have complicated directions, maps, and simple directions to TCA, here is a Google Earth kmz file as well. Nice orderly shop and a factory authorized service center for Fox and Campy. It is a bit difficult to find as it doesn't look like a shop, has no sign, just the letters TCA on the building. On a bit of a tangent, does anyone have a GPS enabled cell phone that helps you find places with a .kmz file? Seems like a useful application but I've not seen that yet. Even GPS receivers seems slow to pick up the .kmz format. TCA Bike Shop.kmz
flying
Good idea that map....... True TCA was not too easy to find but I had already saw a picture of their shop & it is quite distinctive & stood out..
