Live Music In Phuket

Featured Replies

I will be heading to patong phuket for my 3rd time this year and i was wondering if anyone could help me. I live in melbourne australia and absolutely love the live music scene we have here,,,any idea of any bars that play live ORIGINAL music in phuket, dont care if its thai or english as long as its original.

I am willing to listen to any styles of music but my 1st choice would have to be rock, if u can help that would be great, i really dont wanna head to rock city night after night to watch the ac dc and metallica tribute bands again, dont get me wrong they are awesome but have seen them way too many times. Some original music would be nice

cheers

Patong, uggggh!

Only one I can think of in Patong is Galaxy club. On the road coming straight from the Kaon hill road. (The road that eventually runs all the way behind Jungcylon.)

Outside of Patong there are loads.

Kata:

-Roberts Bar (legendary RObert the guitarist)

-Peek Mai (After hours joint with live Thai band at the end o the Kata Night Bazaar strip

Phuket Town:

Loads.

On Fri/Sat night most Thai nightclubs/discos have live Thai Rock Bands.

-T2 (near clocktower circle)

-Sofa (Just off montree rd)

-Kor Ta Nor (off a bigger circle in Sapan Hin)

-Bizarre Happy fun Club

-Blue Marlin (Basement of Merlin Hotel)

plus others

most of them are Thai rock cover bands.

Best sounding is Robert's band in Robert's bar.

Do all the bands in those places play original music?
