There are disagreements about what can be called gain of function research. Never mind, let's put apart the expert discussion about what is or not gain of function research. You don't understand because you don't want to understand. A virus has a genetic heritage and its possible to identify whether another virus can be one of its ancestors. The viruses on which experiments were made under the NHS program cannot be ancestors of Covid 19. It's not the same lineage. The current dominant lab leak theory is that the lab may have collected the Covid 19 virus among others, as it collected a lot of them, and then it may have been leaked by accident. -

Help with medication
Hi, I'm new here and posting on behalf of a relative who is living in Pattaya. Basically they need help with their medication and I said I would try and find some stuff out for them (I am not based in Pattaya myself). All they need is like some sort of 'carer' service for 30 minutes a day. They would just need a reliable person who can - 1. Look after/store their medication for them. This is medication which has been prescribed by a doctor. 2. Come to the reception of their condo and drop off their medication for that day (just a few pills). This would just be left at reception. This would need to be done every day (7 days a week), at anytime of the day before 17:00. That's it. Is there anyone on here who can suggest a company to contact, or where to start looking, to find someone who could assist with this service? Like I said, it really is a very simple job which would not take much time. The person just needs to be able to do this daily. Thanks for your time, Oliver -

Racism or "just" bad behavior at Pattaya City Hospital?
Exactly, why wait hours at a hospital to possibly save a few baht? The only reason to go to the hospital is to see a doctor following a blood test to check the meds are working as they should and the organs are functioning normally. -

Alien is a legal definition. And rightly so, foreigners should NOT be allowed to own land in LoS. The Arabs and Chinese will overrun the place. Be thankful you can own a condo.
