Pattaya Music Festival begins

PATTAYA:-- A press conference was held on Friday morning at the Hard Rock Hotel on Beach Road to announce the start of the 40-million baht Pattaya Music Festival which starts at 6:00pm and goes through until Sunday 21 March.

Deputy Mayor solves Pattaya Music Festival vendor problem

Friday evening saw the start of the three-day Pattaya Music Festival and, as expected, Beach Road and Walking Street all the way down to the Bali Hai port area was packed with revelers. With any event of this kind there will be problems but the first of these was solved by deputy mayor Khun Ronagit. He was called in to mediate on a complaint by street vendors who said local police had prevented them from setting up their stalls in their usual areas.

Rock 'n Roll na krap, wish I was there....

Went last night. Walked from one end to the other. Great time. I have to say I am amazed at how polite the people were. Got bumped into a few times and was immediately "wai'ed" with profuse apologizes. The music was Thai rock and pop, but fun. Taxi is tonight. Not sure if I will make it as I am beat!
