March 22, 201015 yr Anyone know of anywhere where i can can buy 200 sleeve cigarettes cheaper than tesco's,etc........ in bangkok Cheers
March 22, 201015 yr Cigarette pricing is controlled by the Thai Tobacco Monopoly therefore buying a sleeve of 200 sticks will cost the same where ever you go. You can find cheaper brand cigarettes all over - however, I suggest you don't as the cigs are counterfeit/fake product and could pose more health danger due to its unknown ingredient content. The only place that will have lower price legitimate products are; King Power duty free arrival hall store (airport) - you can buy over the counter prior to exiting immigrations; on the Lao/Thai border duty free store of Vientiane, Suvannakhet, Chongmek and also in Poipet Cambodia (casino hotels duty free stores - Star Vegas/Grand Diamond)
March 22, 201015 yr I live out near Rangsit and my local shop sells L&M for 60 baht a pack, but she buys me a sleeve of 200 for 520 baht she gets hers from a small beer and cigs warehouse come town shop in Rangsit , The mark up is very small on cigs I only save 80 baht but hey thats more than a free 20's pack If you have a small ma and pa shop near you go ask where they get theres or look out for the small warehouse come shop house. The cost of cigs are not the same where ever you go my brand are 58 baht at 7-11 but 60 baht in my village all sellers have to buy them cheaper than they sell them or they and the goverment would not make any money. as I said before the mark up is so little but its a service and they hope that when you buy your cigs you buy some other stuff with better profit margins. colino

Any shop that you see selling boxes of things and sacks, open sacks etc, as posted above 1x pk of 200 LM is 520 baht. OK I live out in the sticks but from where I live to the main road is 7km and there are 6 shop that sell for this price, going the other way to San Noi there are 2 + 3 in the little town of San Noi.. There may well be others but these I have visited in the 7 years I have lived here. Edit: I looked at Tesco Lotus 3 weeks ago they were 555 baht and 7/11 were 580 baht
