My wife (UK, 40), myself (US, 43) and daughter (UK/US, 3) have a doosey of a visa query. The three of us have a 3-entry tourist visa which expires 14th of April. We have used only two previous entries of the 3-entry visa itself. Does this mean as long as we exit and return to Thailand before the 14th we will get another 60-day stay? Further complicating matters, in utter ignorance two months ago we visited KL and got an additional single-entry tourist visa while there, so in essence we've used two entries on the 3-entry visa and one on a KL-issued, single-entry visa. In a nutshell, will Thai immigration view our 3-entry visa as valid on the basis that one of the three entries was on the KL-issued visa or will they just see three entries and view it as used up? I hope that makes sense. Any help on this issue would be apprecitated very much.

your 3 entries visa has been cancelled at the moment you obtained the single entry.

next step for your wife and you is to get another visa, your daughter doesn't need visa and will not be fined for overstay until the age of 7.

As said your triple entry Visa is now canceled.

Your Daughter would be on overstay without a further Visas but Children under the age of 14 do not get fined.

Thanks for the input; I guess the rules out an overland visa run. Will KL issue another tourist visa, back-to-back, or are further steps needed? We'd like to spend at least another 3 months in Thailand, if not more. We are genuine tourists, enjoying spending time with our daughter and spending money in the local community. Any advice would be appreciated.

If they have not stamped the three entry visa as used or marked 3rd entry on it suspect it will be accepted for an entry prior to April 14.
