Golfers, Play Alpine Cheap Like Before.

Featured Replies

I got a phone call from the Alpine Golf Course (formerly Chiang Mai-Lamphun) manager yesterday.

Michael told me that the low season starts today and runs until September 30th. During this low season, he would like to have a weekly sports-day at 500 Baht only, just like some 5 years ago.

However, not knowing if this will be a success, he wants to do a test today.

Alpine; as being a part of the Thaksin Shinawatra’s assets now, is normally being played by the “high-so’s” only. Not guy’s like you and me.

So, if you are up to a cheap game at an expensive high-so course, join me today at Alpine.

See you,

Nirun.

I understand that one must wear a tie, if only to hold one's shorts/trousers up, to play hi-so golf, or is it called 'goff' in such elevated circles ? :)

It's a great offer...but unlikely to be successful if they don't spread the word and give a bit more notice!

Perhaps they want today to fail so as to not have to run the promotion...?

Running it on a Thursday clashing with the Royal League at Highlands is also a bit strange...
