Looks like authomaic weapons, helmets and shields. Three high ranking police officers with red shirts could be either negociating the return of the weapons or have jumped ship to red camp.

sanamluan broadcast went down for a short time however now back on without sound though showing speakers on stage....pictures live showing large crowd being whipped into a frenzy by speakers

what I do not understand is how the Thai baht keep getting stronger with all this violence going on & exports & tourism at a major loss and many countries advising

there citizens not to go to Thailand My gut feeling is telling me we are being scammed by the Thai banks or who ever is in control of the thai baht same when the coup

happened it was 36 to 1 USD before the coup after the coup it went to 35 and keep on getting stronger this is not good for the poor they will lose there jobs & tourism is at a loss also Hotels will be cutting there staff more job loss and we have a Government who was not elected but appointed which in my opinion send the wrong message to the Thai people at least majority of them maybe this is why the red shirts are demonstrating because it seem to me the elite are not concerned about the country welfare only lining

there pockets with a strong baht & ATM fees for expats who withdraw funds from out side the country. so it very easy for me to throw my support for the red shirts who I think are not getting a fair shake by this government especially when it over thrown a democratically elected PM to replace it with one who was not chosen by the people but chosen by the elite few

i hate to be the one who asks, but why wouldnt police/army have weapons, and why would anyone be suprised that they had them...
