I'd like to go celebrate Songkran as I've missed it last year. A friend of mine staying here told me to go Silom. Is it safe there? Any other places? Btw...any members have any photos taken in these happening places, it would be so nice of you to post it here. I live face from town, don't wanna come all the way into a war zone or anti-climax celebration with just several plain janes...

I was at Silom tonight and there were very many people there for Songran. It seemed the same as last year, everyone having fun with no sign of trouble.
