Anybody else in Bangkok got an Xbox 360? Where is the best place to buy original versions of games (not copies) and Xbox live points and Gold online cards?

Can't help you with buying original games- I've seen ones for sale in MBK but they're for NTSC/J 360's (the Japanese ones, so they wouldn't work on an American or European 360).

For live points and Gold cards it's probably cheaper to buy online anyway. I've used these guys before- http://www.jasper1675.com/ - they email the code within a few hours and I've never had a problem with them.

I got my 360 at MBK. I think the stall was called Blue Square Games and it's on the 6th floor. The main guy there, the fat one, is really helpful and quite honest. He does sell original games. The 360 i got is a Malaysian import and will play anything. it came with all the updates installed and has worked fine for the 18 months i have had it. Not sure if he sells points but i buy mine online through Microsfot on the Xbox and i haven't been kicked out yet!

I play a few original games online and have got loads of copies. They all play fine. I bought a few games over from the UKL and they play on my system. It can also play DVD's although the guy at MBK advised against that, i don't remember why.

I think I will be upgrading to Gold again in the next few weeks, so will try out that website.

There is a small IT mall across the Skytrain from Paragon that I can't remember the name of that used to be quite good with a few console shops - not been for a while though!
