Just a humble request to the citizens who drives. Please don't park the car at the side way during the peak hours. A three lane becomes to lanes. Such as the Lat Ya road.

Thank you

I wonder how many local Thai Drivers and Car owners are going to read this post and would actually then consider the OP's humble request. Plus how many farangs, based here in Bangkok, do own a car and how many of those pass trough Lat Ya and would then even park there. This is Bangkok after all.

Someone should have explained the use of lanes to you before you started driving in LOS.

Inside lane (nearest kerb) is for parking, especially next to the roadside noodle / somtam / gai yang stall to pick up food for the journey.

Middle lane is for motocy and for overtaking the cars in the outside lane. In emergency it may be used to double park next to the roadside noodle / somtam / gai yang stall to pick up food for the journey if the inside lane has at least 2 parked cars either side of said food stall.

Outside lane is for coasting along in at slow speed and enjoying the sights that the journey has to offer and may be used by fast motocy to overtake.

There probably aint many citizens posting here, Thai citizens that is, maybe you could have a few million leaflets printed in Thai and hand them out to the citizens, Thai ones of course, unless you bump into a falang that has Thai citizenship.

Good luck on your quest to free up the roads and educate the citizens. :)

Can the motorcycle riders that ride on the pavement, when the traffic is blocked, save the wheelies just for the roads please.

Thanks.
