I need to fly into Bangkok for some shopping and don't know whats open or closed. Can anyone here tell me if MBK is open?

Thanks in advance!

I think everything is open now. I was in Bkk a two weeks ago and went to Platinum and Panthip, a friend went to MBK. Believe even Paragon finally opened.

Thanks for your reply's. Got my Asia air ticket. Hope to get in/out with as little hassle as possible. :)

yes MBK is open but i am not sure about central world and paragon.

MBK has been open throughout. Paragon, Central world closed. Central Chidlom open, Panthip, Platinum, Indra all open also.

I popped into MBK a few days back and it was packed out with customers. There were a lotta red shirts there too with their families and kids, but they just mingled with the crowds as normal and no one paid them any attention.

I thought I read a report that Paragon had re-opened finally.

MBK is still open but Central World and Paragon is currently still closed as of today 11th May 2010.

We drove as close as we could, but could not get to MBK from Rama 4. Payathai Road was sealed off to everyone by barbed wire. Based on this, I believe MBK remains closed as of May 21.

Does anyone know if Pantip and MBK in Bangkok are open today?

Thanks!

MBK-website doesn't say they are closed.

Thanks again.
