Flintstones on Chaweng beach road, International bar, as another post says JP mini mart, good for people watching and some times good company. i did also manage to get a discounted price in the bars down soi reggae as a regular customer, jb coke 100 baht and san mig 70 baht. the western owners would not go for it but thai owners did, worth a try. or get a plane to pattaya and drink san mig and heini for 40 baht all day every day in air con. or 2 for one 85 baht. also 55 baht with free swimming pool and jaquzzi. failing that give the 2 bars on Samui a try.

Premier Bar in Bangrak has a 99 baht cocktails before 21:00. That include Long Island Ice Tea which are normally around 250 baht. Two or three of those are deadly. I think there are also beer specials but with 99 baht LITs, who needs beer.

the only one i know is down the soi where black jacks is past the new development the the soi on the left, if you come out of sound bar next soi on right. the only place i have drunk down there is the old go go bar which is now open fronted.

A cousin of mine invited me to the pub for a beer singhy and when he arrived I got a round in....we had a friendly chinwag....he finished first went to the bar came back with a pint for himself....I drained mine and walked out.....never seen the bloke in oh 20 odd years....no loss then.

To be honest carmine when I clicked on this I was expecting a printable beer token from you....redeemable in 2009.

No problem there though carmine I'm bringing my new threads over with me so maybe the new Aussie bar? I hear its suitably geared for property developers and the likes.

there is a club called, koh samui sports and social club, www.ksssc.com they have associated bars all over Samui, any members of ksssc get 10% discount in said bars, there are also a couple of eateries on their list, I had a great sunday lunch in Maenan with 3 others and the 10% was well worth having. most establishments will not discount during happy hour.

they also put on some good fun days, organise golf days, bowling trips to tesco, and are looking to have trips to places like grand prix's,

I have attended race nights and quiz nights, the most recent I went to was a sunday afternoon Quiz in Bangrak, All beer was discounted and then the gaffer put on a free BBQ, excellent club and a fun thing to join.
