I'm looking for a good superzoom to take some pics of birds and the like. I know they don't compare well to Dslr cameras, but I'm an amateur, I don't have a lot of money, and I'm not very techy.

I live in Surin and there are not any good camera stores in town. Big C carries the Fuji HS10 for 16,990. My questions are:

1. Would I save by buying this in Bangkok? If so, how much?

2. Does anyone have anything very negative to say about this camera from experience?

3. If something were to go wrong with it in the early days, is there a Fuji dealer in BKK that would honor the warranty and fix it? (I doubt I would get much help from Big C.)

Thanks for any input you have.
