As someone who uses motorcycle taxi guys every day, I've noticed that over the last week or two, seemingly a majority of these guys are now wearing black shirts, t's or long-sleeve, with a sizeable minority also wearing gray and sky blue. I know that before the red-shirt protests many motosai wore black anyway, but this seems different. Black and the other two shades seem to dominate like never before. It seems like black has become the new red - perhaps in solidarity with the 'men in black' - as a code, and perhaps, a way to retain customers who (like me) would otherwise refuse service from someone who wore a red shirt.

I know that many - probably most motosai - are red sympathizers, but is black really the new red or am I just paranoid (though, I'm not ruling out both)?

Not sure if they are Red sympathizers, but for sure they are for heir by anyone including the Red Shirts. So they are in black (new multicolor, “previously known as Red Shirt”) and ready in moment notice to join
