I was pondering growing some herbs on my balcony in pots.

I was thinking about sweet basil (ใบโหระพา). Is it possible?

Of course Briggsy, most herbs will grow in pots, but as my Thai friend says,"Why grow when they cost 5Baht at the market".

But we want them for the therapeutic pleasure they give us.

So where do I start? Seeds or cuttings?

Go to a garden centre or the like and buy seedlings, from seed takes a lot longer. Where you live you might be able to find somewhere that sells plants etc. Go for it!

Bought some mint and sweet basil yesterday. Small plants in pots.
