Im from Canada and want to come to Thailand ASAP and enjoy the beauty of it! But do I need a Visa? And if so, how long will that allow me to be in the country? Also am I allowed to renew the Visa to stay longer? And where would I get the Visa for this?! Please help!

Thank you :)

You don't say where you are NOW, Canada or elsewhere.

An airport Visa Exempt stamp on arrival at a Thai airport would give you 30 days.

But probably better to get a Tourist Visa, single or double entry, at a Thai Consulate prior to arrival. This'd give you 60 days extendible by 30 days, then cross a border, return for another 60+30.

Honorary Thai consulates in Canada are:

There's a Thai embassy in Ottawa and a Consulate in Vancouver.

There's other options if you'd qualify for a "retirement."
