This is for Thai immigration.Since the 90 day check in was so popular at the one stop, may I offer a suggestion?I am truly sorry that your staff had to work harder.May I offer a suggestion?I like many ex-pats are very disappointed with this convenient 90 day check in being cancelled. You are even moving me for the first time to check in by mail.I have a suggestion, set up a location near the center of Bangkok and charge 1,2 ,3 etc hundred baht to use it and you will make the ex-pats happy and make a lot of money too. Or add a person at the one stop to handle the business.I am truly sorry that your staff at the one stop had to work harder, aren't they there to work?????? :):D:D:D:D:D:D

The implementation of your suggestion would not be as simple as you imagine. It would need a change of the Immigration Act, ie a new law enacted by parliament to amend the corresponding section of the existing law, and obviously nobody with the authority to introduce a motion for this law in parliament could be bothered as it is just not important enough.

If it is any consolation to you, some foreigners living upcountry have to travel four hours or longer, one way, to conduct business at their local immigration office that cannot be done by mail.
