Could anyone suggest the most convenient connections from Ramkhumhaeng (soi 15) to the airport

by bus?

To answer my own question ... caught a 71 (every few minutes} up Ram

to the big intersection where you turn left to The Mall Bangkapi ...

turned right walked 100 metres and caught the 550 (every 15 - 20mins)

to the airport. Hotel door to Terminal door about 1.5 hrs in the middle

of the day.

From Ram Soi 15 to the airport will cost 170 Baht in a taxi. Any more than that you have either been ripped off or been unlucky in the traffic.

By bus, get any bus going to Lam Sali intersection, get off, cross the road so you are heading south on Sri Nakharin, walk to the bus stop south of Lam Sali intersection. Catch the orange bus to the airport, the number begins with 7.. something like 771 but not sure. This way is very slow as the bus goes via Orn Nuch.
