Multiple Entry Visa - Extension Of Stay - Re-Entry Permit?

Hope someone can help I'm in need of some clarification as to my options.

I have a multiple entry ED visa "must be utiziled" before 29/09/10

I have had one 90 day extension - must notify immigration on June 11th -expires on the 13th.

I'm leaving thailand for about 6 weeks on June 11th.

Do I need a re-entry permit to come back?? - now that I've gone down the 90 day extension route

or can I just leave and come back on the ED visa and get another 90 days?

A re-entry permit only allows entry before your current expiration of stay date (July 13) so would be useless. You need to return on a new 90 day visa entry.

Thanks for the quick reply. Are you saying I need to get a new visa, or is the original multiple entry visa still valid after an extension?

Unless it is marked in some way it should still be valid.
