Just a few questions about a re-entry permit.

1) Can the permit be bought at the old immigration office on Suan Phluu or are all permits now handled at the new immigration office?

2) If they are still available at Suan Phluu, when is that particular office open?

3) Does a multiple re-entry permit expire on Dec. 31 or is it good for 1 year from date-of-purchase?

Any help would be appreciated. I was not able to find this information anywhere. Thanks.

A re-entry permit can only be had from the immigration office for your area. If in bangkok, Suan Plu seems also able to give a re-entry permit and is also open on Saturday morning.

A re-entry permit is valid for the duration of your current permission to stay in Thailand. When that ends, you can no longer use the re-entry permit.

Call in advance!

Immigration also has a notice in Thai that Suan Plu is closed today or starting today and one should go to Chean Wattana Road. As my Thai is not very good I'm not sure if it is only for today they are closed or starting from today.
