night_rider
I work for a large international corporation. In the next six months my job as junior peon is finally going to throw in a real perk in allowing me to work from home 100% of the time. It remains to be seen if I convince my employer that 'home' can be a bungalo on the Gulf of Thailand with a leased line connection but after six months of testing I think we should be cleared. Now I'd be working for the US corporation from my home. I imagine I cannot get a Thai work visa and would rather not to avoid paying Thai taxes and still be exempt from my own countries federal taxation. So in order to avoid visa runs can you recommend a visa for my situation? I know it's probably not strictly legal to work even if it is in front of a computer monitor 8 hours a day but I'll tell them I'm addicted to porn if they ask. My initial thought is to combine my desire to learn Thai with a student visa to avoid visa runs. Comments?

kenkannif
Might be worth signing up for a 'proper' Thai course and getting a Non-imm ED for a couple of years!
